Eric Paul
Musician/Artist/Composer
:: Services
Yes, there are other things I do besides write songs. My educational background is in music theory and composition, so I've been known to do transcriptions and arrangements to pay the bills. I also have a nice home recording studio that I personally had a hand in constructing. Below are some of the services that Eric can help you with. Read each subsection for more detail...
Transcribing and arranging music requires a keen ear and attention to detail. I offer this service because it's something that I've been doing for years and it's easy for me. I am a classicaly trained pianist/ composer, and the degree work I did in college has prepared me well for such a task. I also have several examples below that exhibit only a small representation of my previous work.
- The customer will usually give me a tape, cd, or sound file which contains any type of music he/she would like transcribed.
- Based on what I hear, I will let the customer know an estimated time frame and possible cost for the project. Generally, music with a higher level of difficulty will be a little more expensive.
- I will begin transcribing the music as quickly and accurately as possible.
- About halfway into the final production process, I will send a couple of example pages to the customer (most likely an email PDF attachment) to see that progress is being made. At this time, I will expect partial payment equal to the work done up to that point.
- Once the project is finished, I will send a password protected PDF to the customer for final approval. If it is accepted, I will collect the rest of the payment and give the password to the customer so it can be printed for use.
